Riverside café and bar
When the National Theatre was built, the riverside walkway ended just to its east, and so the north-eastern corner was the back of the building. As a result it was woefully underused, housing a goods entrance and refuse and recycling facilities.
Thanks to NT Future a new riverside café and bar have transformed this area. Audiences and visitors can now enjoy these new eating and drinking options. Outdoor tables on the riverside provide a vibrant space in which to relax and enjoy the views across the Thames.
Kitchen is the National Theatre's new all-day café, offering simple, healthy dishes using the freshest ingredients and local suppliers. Opening hours - Monday to Saturday 9.30am - 8.00pm. Sundays 12 noon - 6.00pm. For further information including a sample menu, please click here.
